We in the intensive care unit look forward to getting to know you and welcoming you as a new colleague in our team!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nursing assistant with us, you are part of a professional intensive care team consisting of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and physiotherapists. We meet people in one of life's most critical stages and have meaningful and developing work every day. We work with continuous improvements in patient-centered care and the work environment to ensure a workplace where you can thrive.
We operate a general intensive care unit and care for seriously ill and critically injured patients of all ages, including children. Operations are conducted around the clock. Each year, we have about 2,000 patients, of which approximately 600 are intensive care patients. Others include postoperative patients as well as CVK and epidural catheter insertions.
When you start with us, you will receive an introduction that includes, among other things, shadowing and training.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has worked in inpatient care, preferably in emergency care. Experience in intensive care is an advantage.
The work requires good communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with colleagues and other partners. To meet the specific needs of our patients, it is important that you have a well-developed empathetic ability and enjoy being close to patients and their relatives.
You thrive with a structured approach to work and can independently take responsibility for prioritizing between different tasks, taking initiatives, and making decisions.
